David Foox is a trailblazing attorney, acclaimed filmmaker, and visionary artist who has been shaping the future of money, technology, and creativity since the earliest days of Bitcoin.

He directed and produced the groundbreaking documentary Bit X Bit: In Bitcoin We Trust(2018), a five-year journey (2013–2018) that captured intimate interviews with pioneering futurists, developers, and visionaries, cementing his status as one of Bitcoin’s earliest and most passionate champions.

With a rigorous legal foundation in intellectual property and patent litigation, David graduated with his law degree from Victoria University School of Law in 1999 and earned his Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (high honors) in 2000, specializing in patent litigation. Admitted to the New York Bar in 2001, he launched his career at the elite IP firm Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, where he tackled landmark cases, including litigation over the foundational text messaging patent (U.S. Patent No. 5,771,238) and patent term extensions for blockbuster drugs like Viagra and Celebrex.
